The Toofaan (2021) actor got into a spat with a fan of Padukone, who shared the post about her liking the comment. Thakur hit back, “Get well soon... you are mentally sick. I wish I could get you some flowers and slam it on your face and thank you for spreading hate. I admire Deepika. Having said that I feel you must get yourself a life, rather than sit at home and spread hate”. Padukone also took a jibe at the social media influencer and wrote on her Instagram Story, “Scientists say the universe is made up of protons, neutrons and electrons. They forgot to mention morons”.
