Devotion in the air
For some Bollywood stars, Ganesh Chaturthi 2026 meant being home; for others, celebrating from afar. Kartik Aaryan, currently in the UK for the shoot of ‘Captain India’, marked the festival away from Mumbai, writing, “Miles away from home, but never away from Bappa!” Ananya Panday, meanwhile, rushed home in time to welcome Bappa with her family, sharing, “Back home just in time for my fave to come home.” Sharvari returned to her ancestral home in Morgaon, Maharashtra, calling the festival “a full circle of coming home to love, warmth, family, positivity, and so many modaks”. At Mannat, Shah Rukh Khan revealed, “Gauri [Khan] does the aarti and then the prayers,” while family and friends gathered to celebrate.
