Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4 is officially in development, with Kartik Aaryan returning as Rooh Baba. The screenplay is currently being written, and the makers are expected to finalise the director before the film goes on floors in the second half of 2027

The bhoots are coming

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 4’ is officially taking shape, and Rooh Baba is ready for another spooky adventure. After the blockbuster success of ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ (2024), Kartik Aaryan is set to return as the fan-favourite ghostbuster, with producer Bhushan Kumar backing the fourth instalment. The screenplay is currently being developed, with the makers focusing on locking a strong script before appointing a director. If all goes according to plan, the horror-comedy will go on floors in the second half of 2027. While Priyadarshan directed the franchise opener, Anees Bazmee helmed the next two films. He is also expected to direct the upcoming film. An official announcement is expected after the screenplay and director are finalised.
