11 CINTAA members resign claiming Poonam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapure misused their positions

As many as 11 members from the film body, CINTAA, have submitted their joint resignation, alleging that veteran actresses Poonam Dhillon and Padmini Kolhapure misused their positions

The Cine and TV Artistes Association (CINTAA) Executive Committee has been dissolved. The development comes after as many as 11 members resigned with immediate effect. The news was confirmed by the body's General Secretary and TV actor Upasana Singh. The resignations reportedly alleged that President Poonam Dhillon and Senior Vice-President Padmini Kolhapure misused their positions, which made the members call for fresh elections.
11 members resign from CINTAA
Upasana Singh confirmed to ANI that the members had resigned. She added that eight of the 11 members were elected members of the Executive Committee. She revealed that the eight elected members were Hemant Pandey, Mukesh Rishi, Sahila Chadha, Hetal Parmar, Puneet Issar, Vindu Dara Singh, Vikas Verma and Deepak Parashar.
