Faissal Khan, best remembered for his role in Mela, has often made headlines for his controversial statements against his brother, superstar Aamir Khan, and their family. Last year, he accused his family of kept him under house arrest for a year and administering the wrong medication, while confirming that he had severed ties with them. Months after levelling these serious allegations, Faissal has apologised to his family and admitted he should have resolved the issues in person.

In a recent interview with Ujjwal Trivedi, Faissal was asked about his explosive claims, to which he apologised and admitted he should never have made such statements. "I want to first apologise to my mother. I want to apologise to Nikhat. I want to apologise to Santosh. I also apologise to Aamir. In anger and pain, I said many things that I should never have said. I should not have spoken about those things in public. I should have sat down with my family and discussed them."
