Coming from a musical family, Neil understands how vulnerable and exposed performers can feel when they are disrespected in front of the audience. Reacting to the controversy, Neil said, “I am very hurt by that. Being a singer’s son and an artist who goes on stage very often, I can relate to the situation. In fact, I commented on Mika paaji’s post with all my heart. He is such a senior artist; give him some respect. Humanity should come first."
