Filmmaker Abhinay Deo has always admired his brother Ajinkya Deo's acting prowess. However, he believes the senior actor is yet to get his rightful due in the industry. In an exclusive conversation with Mid-Day, Abhinay opened up about Ajinkya's versatility, his impressive body of work and why he is particularly looking forward to seeing him in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming epic Ramayana: Rise of Legend.
Abhinay Deo says brother Ajinkya deserves more recognition
Reflecting on Ajinkya's talent and his long-standing belief that the actor deserved far more opportunities in the industry, Abhinay said, "My brother has been an extraordinary actor ever since he entered the industry. His very first film earned him a State Award, and since then, he has gone on to receive several national and international awards. I think he is one of the finest actors who probably hasn't received the due he truly deserves. As a country, we have very few exceptionally versatile actors who can pull off almost anything, and he is certainly one of them. He can fit into any role."
