The couple has reportedly unfollowed each other on Instagram, adding another twist to the ongoing discussion surrounding their relationship. The social media development comes days after Sunita’s divorce case against the actor was reportedly withdrawn. However, it seems that they haven't unfollowed each other, putting the rumours to rest.

Rumours about problems between Govinda and Sunita have been circulating for several months. Their marriage came under renewed scrutiny after reports emerged that Sunita had filed for divorce. The petition, reportedly filed in December 2024 under the Hindu Marriage Act, was said to have cited allegations including adultery, cruelty and desertion. Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, subsequently confirmed that Sunita had withdrawn the divorce petition.
