Mukesh Chhabra's debut production Gudgudi starring Ahsaas Channa to be screened at Cannes 2026

Starring Ahsaas Channa, Gudgudi has been selected to be screened at the 79th Cannes Film Festival. Mukesh Chhabra called it an opportunity to bring focus to Indian talents

Soon after the mega success of the box office phenomenon, Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar The Revenge, casting director Mukesh Chhabra has now achieved another significant feat by venturing into production with Gudgudi. Starring Ahsaas Channa, Gudgudi has been officially selected under the Marché du Film segment at the 79th Cannes Film Festival, 2026, running from 12 to 23 May, 2026.

“Words can’t justify how I feel to see Gudgudi make its way to the 79th Cannes Film Festival. It’s an esteemed, global platform, and I feel grateful to be able to showcase our vision, Indian cinema’s vision, our capability and celebrate the teamwork that went behind creating this piece of work,” shares Mukesh Chhabra.
