With Assam reeling under severe floods, Bollywood celebrities are rallying to support those affected. Days after Salman Khan initiated a relief campaign, Alia Bhatt has raised her voice, calling for immediate assistance for the flood-hit state and urging people to contribute to relief efforts.

Extending support to the state, the actress wrote, “Right now, floods are affecting so many parts of our country, with Assam being among the hardest hit and facing an incredibly challenging time. More than 60 lives have been lost. Lakhs of people have been displaced. Entire families have lost their homes, their land, their livestock, and, for some, even the people they love.”
