Theatre has held a special place for Ali Fazal, who used to perform frequently at Prithvi Theatre before films came calling. Now, the actor is stepping into a new role on stage — he will present the play, Mahanagar Jugnu, written and directed by playwright Amitosh Nagpal. The production, starring Neha Saraf and Swanandi Tikekar, will be staged today as part of the ongoing Le’ Chakallas Festival in Malad, Mumbai.
