Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s Juhu bungalow has become the centre of a civic dispute after the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) issued a stop-work notice linked to plans for a salon and spa at the property. The development follows objections from the housing society, which has raised questions about the proposed commercial use of the premises. The Devgn camp, however, maintains that the necessary approvals have already been obtained.

Why did BMC issue a stop-work notice?

The property, located at Plot S-10 on N S Road No. 11 in Mumbai’s JVPD Scheme, is a 7,802 sq ft bungalow. According to reports, the Kapol Co-operative Housing Society approached the BMC after work connected to the proposed salon and spa was noticed at the premises.
