Uorfi Javed recently reacted to a former DD News journalist in a strongly-worded statement. The alleged journalist claimed that Uorfi had converted to Hinduism and changed her name to Rita Bhardwaj. The social media star called her out for stating that she wears ‘adhi nangi’ (half-nude) clothes and much more. Uorfi even claimed that a content creator sent her ‘triggering’ messages for calling her out.

Meeta Chowdry, whose Instagram bio states that she worked at DD News, shared a video about Uorfi, which has now been deleted, wherein she stated that Uorfi is famous for nothing more than wearing ‘aadhe nange (half-naked)’ clothes. “She has no other claim to her fame, except that she was always very less dressed,” she said.
