Actor Akshaye Khanna has made a sizeable real estate purchase in Mumbai, acquiring a luxury apartment in the city’s upscale Malabar Hill neighbourhood for Rs 33.26 crore. According to property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards on the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration (IGR) website, the transaction was registered in September 2026.

The purchase adds another high-profile celebrity property deal to Mumbai’s luxury real estate market. Located in one of South Mumbai’s most sought-after residential pockets, the apartment is situated at 30 Little Gibbs on Malabar Hill Road. The registration documents show that the transaction attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.99 crore, while Rs 30,000 was paid towards registration charges.
