Stock market extends losses for fourth session; Sensex down 363.66 points on soaring crude oil prices

The 30-share BSE Sensex lost 363.66 points, or 0.47 per cent, to end at 76,391.39, while the 50-share NSE Nifty slid 126.65 points, or 0.53 per cent, to settle at 23,869.60. Both the indices had declined at the opening with the Sensex down 239.95 points to 76,515.10, and the Nifty dropping 91.45 points to 23, 904.80

Domestic equity benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended lower on Thursday, extending their losses for fourth straight session as the soaring crude oil prices amid the escalating tensions in West Asia continued to weaken investor sentiment.
The 30-share BSE Sensex lost 363.66 points, or 0.47 per cent, to end at 76,391.39, while the 50-share NSE Nifty slid 126.65 points, or 0.53 per cent, to settle at 23,869.60.
