Market end five-day losing streak; Sensex soars over 775 points, Nifty surges nearly 230 points

The 30-share BSE Sensex surged 776.01 points, or 1.02 per cent, to settle at 76,835.78, while the 50-share NSE Nifty soared 228.50 points, or 0.96 per cent, to end at 23,995.95

Indian benchmark equity indices rallied on Monday, ending their five-session losing streak, as global crude oil prices fell sharply, easing concerns about supply disruptions after the United States and Iran paused their military strikes.
The 30-share BSE Sensex surged 776.01 points, or 1.02 per cent, to settle at 76,835.78, while the 50-share NSE Nifty soared 228.50 points, or 0.96 per cent, to end at 23,995.95.
