<a href="https://www.mid-day.com/business/business-news/article/tata-motors-passenger-vehicles-to-hike-prices-by-up-to-rs-25000-from-september-1-23645868" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd</a> on Tuesday reported a 56 per cent rise in total sales to 67,753 units in August from 43,315 units in the same month last year.
Domestic Passenger Vehicle (PV) sales were at 65,253 units last month as compared to 41,001 units in August 2025, a growth of 59 per cent, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd (TMPVL) said in a statement.
International business PV sales were at 2,500 units in August as compared to 2,314 units in the same month last year, up 8 per cent, it added.
Overall <a href="https://www.mid-day.com/mumbai/mumbai-news/article/maharashtra-sale-of-power-to-e-vehicles-in-state-sees-three-fold-rise-23304915" target="_blank" rel="none noopener">electric vehicle sales</a>, including international business and domestic were at 16,549 units last month as against 8,540 units in the year-ago month, registering a growth of 94 per cent, the company said.&nbsp;
