Sensex plunges 555 points, Nifty sheds nearly 145 points amid elevated crude oil prices, US-Iran conflict

The domestic equity benchmark indices extended their losses for the second straight day on Tuesday as the surging crude oil prices due to the escalating tensions between US and Iran dampened investor sentiment.
