Bank strike on September 28-30: Canara Bank waives ATM charges for 3 days

Usually, Canara bank permits five free transactions for its bank card holders and eight free transactions for senior citizen card holders at its bank ATMs or cash recyclers every month

Ahead of the proposed three-day bank strike from September 28, public sector lender Canara Bank has waived charges for using the ATMs during the strike period.
"Dear customer, in view of bank strike, charges for using Canara Bank as well as other bank ATMs are waived from 28 to 30 September 2026," Canara Bank intimated its customers through a message.
