Dev Mansukhani's unbeaten 156 off 92 balls helped Lilavatibai Podar High School (Santacruz) thrash their neighbours Podar International School (Santacruz) by a whopping 615 runs on the opening day of the U-16 Harris Shield tournament at Cross Maidan yesterday. In the knockout round encounter, Lilavatibai Podar batsmen toyed with the opposition bowling and scored 415-3 in 36 overs before the umpires decided to leave the field as the Podar International bowlers were unable to complete their allotted 45 overs in the stipulated three hours. Due to the slow over rate, Podar International conceded a penalty of 234 runs and received a massive revised target of 650. Chasing a huge total, Podar International were bowled out for 34 in just 10 overs. Opener Keyur Patel (17) was the only batsmen to reach double figures. For Lilavatibai Podar, left-arm spinner Tanay Puntambekar claimed five wickets while skipper Abbas Karachiwala took three.
