Yemen’s fighting intensifies as government-affiliated Giants Brigades report strikes against Houthi military vehicles and positions near the strategic Bab el-Mandab Strait. The Yemeni army says Houthi suicide FPV drones targeting the Al-Bayda front were shot down before reaching their targets. Footage released by the Giants Brigades shows Houthi-linked targets erupting in flames after reported drone strikes. The latest escalation comes as fighting spreads across western, central and northern Yemen, with Bab el-Mandab remaining a key strategic flashpoint because of its importance to Red Sea shipping.
