Balochistan is facing a fresh escalation in violence following reports of Pakistani military airstrikes that allegedly killed 21 civilians, including women and children. The reported strikes in and around Sorab and Gwadar have triggered protests and renewed anger, while communication disruptions have made independent verification of casualty figures difficult. The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has subsequently claimed a series of coordinated attacks across multiple districts, with reports of strikes targeting security installations, convoys and other infrastructure.
