Israel says it has killed senior Hamas commander Adham Ibrahim Shaaban Nasman in a targeted airstrike in Gaza City. According to the IDF and Shin Bet, Nasman helped lead Hamas's Gaza City Brigade during the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel and later oversaw the captivity of several Israeli hostages. Israel also claims he played a role in rebuilding Hamas's military capabilities during the ongoing conflict.
