Diego Maradona died in November 2020 at the age of 60 while recovering from brain surgery. His seven-member medical team is on trial for the conditions of his home recovery after major surgery, which prosecutors have described as grossly negligent. If the trial is restarted, the 20 hearings, where more than 40 witnesses have testified so far, will be invalidated
