The Enforcement Directorate has questioned TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee in connection with the alleged West Bengal primary school recruitment scam. Investigators are examining financial records, digital evidence and alleged money trails linked to the recruitment scam. The back-to-back questioning comes at a time when the Trinamool Congress is already facing political turbulence, internal rebellion and mounting controversies.
