The Special Cell's Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations (IFSO) unit is investigating the matter under charges including criminal intimidation, public mischief and defamation. Police have issued notices to X seeking the removal of the content and details of the accounts responsible for the posts, including login records and contact information. Authorities have also directed platforms to preserve electronic evidence for the investigation.
