India and Sweden to boost trade, defence and innovation ties at 8th FOC in New Delhi

India and Sweden held the 8th Foreign Office Consultations in New Delhi, co-chaired by Sibi George and Dag Hartelius, agreeing to strengthen cooperation in trade, defence, innovation, sustainability and people-to-people ties

India and Sweden held the eighth round of Foreign Office Consultations (FOCs) in New Delhi on Thursday, agreeing to strengthen cooperation in political engagements, trade and investment, defence and security, innovation, sustainability and people-to-people ties. 

The two sides also discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest. Secretary (West) at the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), Sibi George and Sweden's State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Dag Hartelius co-chaired the meeting.
