Mumbai: Businessman held from Andhra Pradesh for abetting suicide of Charkop-based broker

The accused, identified as Chinayya Reddy (30) had failed to pay Rs 81 lakh to the broker after buying clothes from him which pushed the victim to kill himself

A businessman from Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, was arrested recently for abetting the suicide of a Charkop-based broker.

According to police sources, in March 2021, the victim had died by suicide after jumping in front of a train near Borivli station. The accused, identified as Chinayya Reddy (30) had failed to pay Rs 81 lakh to the broker after buying clothes from him which pushed the victim to kill himself.
