Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister (CM) Eknath Shinde on Tuesday assured support for farmers affected by recent flooding in Marathwada and other regions of the state due to heavy rainfall.

He said the Mahayuti government has already begun distributing financial aid of Rs 10,000 in cash, along with rice and wheat, to those in need of essential supplies in flood-hit areas, news agency ANI reported.
