Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar orders rescue of villagers stranded in Dharashiv floods

Several people were stranded in floodwaters after heavy rains inundated a village in Maharashtra’s Dharashiv district, prompting Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar to order immediate evacuation efforts, news agency PTI reported.
