Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday reviewed the flood situation in Marathwada, where last week’s heavy rains and subsequent flooding caused significant damage to property and farmland.

According to the news agency PTI, during a visit to Nanded, the Chief Minister directed local authorities to keep all disaster management systems on high alert in light of the ongoing water discharge from the Jayakwadi Dam.
