IndiGo flight from Jeddah to Hyderabad diverted to Mumbai after security threat

The aircraft landed safely at Mumbai airport, where the passengers were disembarked and a thorough inspection was carried out, officials said on Saturday

An IndiGo flight operating from Jeddah to Hyderabad was diverted to Mumbai on Saturday following a reported security threat, the airline said, ANI reported.

In a statement, an IndiGo spokesperson said, “A security threat was received for IndiGo flight 6E 68 operating from Jeddah to Hyderabad on November 1, 2025. The aircraft was diverted to Mumbai. As per standard protocol, we immediately informed the relevant authorities and fully cooperated with them to conduct all necessary security checks before the aircraft was cleared for further operations,” according to the ANI.
